We have some worrying news to bring you now, as it has been confirmed within the hour that Graco are recalling two of their old stroller products, after they were
alleged to have caused the death of four infants.
According to this report from USA Today, 2 million strollers in total will be recalled, and it affects their Graco Quattro Tour and MetroLite strollers and travel systems which were produced before 2007.
The recall has been issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, who have stated that four children died as a result of becoming trapped whilst in the strollers. They add that problems can occur if the infants are not strapped into the stroller properly, increasing the risk of them falling through the gap between the food tray and the seat.
If you own either of the products listed above, you should check to see which model number is listed on your Quattro Tour or MetroLite stroller. Affected model numbers include 8755, 8324, 4600, 8740, 8994, 8676 and 8910 according to the official Graco website.
