(CBS) Aly Michalka is plenty exposed these days.
The 21-year-old actress and singer, whose full name is Aly
son, has left her childhood performances for Disney far behind her.
The California native is now heating up the screen as a cheerleader in "Hellcats."

She can also be seen in the recent film "Emma A," an adaption of the "Scarlet Letter," and is working on a new album with her sister, AJ. The duo perform under the name 78Violet.
"I just want to make art that will hopefully make people feel inspired," she recently told Venice magazine.
