Wiz Khalifa once reportedly said he spends $10,000 (£6,197) a month on cannabis, a declaration that appears to have come back to haunt him after the rapper was arrested for ... possession of marijuana.
According to reports from hip-hop websites in America, the 22-year-old rapper was arrested in North Carolina earlier today (9 November).
A fan attending the rapper's gig in North Carolina has uploaded a video (above) of people protesting against what is claimed to be the arrest, and uploaded it to YouTube.
Wiz Khalifa is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who, as well as releasing many mixtapes and two albums since 2006, once put his name to a branded form of cigarette papers and released a song called Weed Roller.
There is no confirmation from the rapper's camp as to the nature of the alleged arrest, but Khalifa tweeted today: "Smoke outs in greenville nc tonite. fall thru wit ur finest plant life."
