American Idol Reveals First Batch Of Top 24,American Idol few of this seasons idols semifinalists were announced ,and the Tuesday seven contestants get the good news they are so hopeful there names are Lee Dewyze,Todrick , Casey James,Aaron Kelly ,Didi Benami,Michael Lynche and Kaetlyn Epperly they received their good news on night.
There are seventeen ,ore contestants edge closer to their dream of becoming the 9th American Idol.And yes, I do think it's going to be a girls' season, but a few of the guys will no doubt give the ladies some stiff competition.So there you have it.While I was initially underwhelmed by the earlier audition rounds, now that I look at this final list of the top 24, I am pretty psyched for this season to really get underway.
Casey Abrams was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after complaining about severe stomach pains while rehearsing his set. It's possible he may be in the hospital for longer than just overnight, which, as TMZ points out, could be seriously bad news for the 19-year-old's chances of continuing in the competition.
If reports are correct that Abrams is a finalist, he'll have to tape a scheduled performance on Friday, according to the website. If he can't, he could be out of the competition.
However, the folks at "Idol" did tweak the schedule a bit when favorite Crystal Bowersox fell ill before a performance last season, so perhaps the same could happen again.
