We’re happy to hear Joe Jonas, 21, doesn’t feel threatened by superstar Justin Bieber, 17. But he may have gone a little too far — insulting Biebs!
Joe tells AOL his career is in a different ballpark than Bieber’s.“[My] songs are a bit more mature,” Jonas said. “The things that I speak about … I really hope 11-year-olds aren’t relating to them, or their parents are going to have to talk.”
He also says his solo album Fast Life is more about the obstacles of young adults opposed to pre-teen drama.
“I’m 21, so [I sing about] things a 21-year-old would deal with. And if an 11-year-old or whatever wants to listen to my music, that’s great, I’m more than happy.
A little over two months ago, Rebecca Black's life was like that of any other normal American 13 year old girl attending junior high school, hanging out with friends, going to the mall. But this week, after a little more than two months since its debut, Rebecca's hit single "Friday" smashed the 100 million view barrier on YouTube, making the clip the 23rd most watched music video of all time on the site.
Happy Friday, ya'll! To celebrate this weekend-bordering day, we bring good tidings: The fact that Rebecca Black's "Friday" has reached 100 million views on YouTube. The most viewed video of all time on YouTube is "Baby" by Justin Bieber, who can count Ms. Black as one of his biggest fans.
But Rebecca's "Friday" which broke through the 100 Million view barrier after just 63 days is already outpacing the Bieber track which took 67 days to reach the lofty milestone.
"Friday" has also turned Rebecca into a star who is recognized everywhere she goes, which is understandable considering the hit song is the Number Two most discussed clip on YouTube, surpassed by only, you guessed it, "Baby." But like many "overnight sensations," Rebecca's road to fame didn't really come overnight.
"The Time (Dirty Bit)," which is at No. 42 with 100.2 million. Next are "Potter Puppet Pals: The Mysterious Ticking Noise," at No. 41 with 100.3 million, and the Lonely Island's "Jizz in My Pants," at No. 40 with 100.9 million.
And while the song has had some detractors, there are more than a few powerful music industry luminaries in Rebecca Black's corner. Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell are big supporters.
Jonas Brothers recently sung "Friday" in concert, as did Justin Bieber. Even pop superstar Lady Gaga is behind the young singer declaring recently in an interview that "Rebecca Black is a genius."
And while "Friday" continues to attract fans in countries all over the world, Rebecca is spending her spring break from school working hard in a Los Angeles recording studio and expects to have more music out soon.

This young Chinese girl performs Richard Clayderman's "Souvenirs d'enfance," on what looks to be a talent-search style TV show, with no fingers on her right hand. If this doesn't inspire you to quit sweating the small stuff, we're not sure what will.Pianists study diligently for years and consider themselves students even well into illustrious careers. But to play the piano lyrically and beautifully.
Chinese pianist with no fingers on her right hand puts on an amazing performance of Richard Clayderman's "Souvenirs d'Enfance," a piece that's hard enough to play with all ten fingers.
Oh, and she hadn't even seen a piano until three years ago. Looks like I'm all out of excuses for my crappy guitar playing.
Miley Cyrus gives the paparazzi a piece of her mind outside California Chicken Cafe for bumping Miley’s mom, Tish while trying to get his money shot.
Miley Cyrus has been caught on tape unleashing her rage at paparazzi. The former Disney star went for a lunch with her mother Tish at California Chicken Cafe in West Hollywood on Wednesday, March 9. When they left the restaurant, one photographer accidentally bumped into Tish, and the 18-year-old was quick to confront him.
She chased him into a corner and unloaded a ranting defense of her mom's honor, as the paparazzo tried, without success, to defend himself.
"Are you serious? You just hit my mom with your camera! You just ran into my mom with your camera. Don't you ever do that again. You just almost hurt my mom. Don't you ever even think about it!"
Miley Cyrus and mom Tish were enjoying a meal at California Chicken Cafe on Wednesday, with paparazzi stalking the outside of the dining establishment as usual. When they left, the paparazzi tried to get up close -- and one went one step too far.

The Office to scenes from Michael’s movie? That’s what happened tonight. “Threat Level Midnight” was fun, but also seemed to last a lot longer than was necessary.
Here’s an overview of what this is all about: After eleven years of writing, shooting, re-shooting and editing, Michael (aka Steve Carell’s character) is ready to present to his co-workers the long awaited action movie he’s been creating.
"Threat Level Midnight." Back then, Pam found a screenplay Michael had been working on, and now the film is finally ready to view. The DIY production stars Michael as "Michael Scarn," an agent who faces off against a villain named Goldenface (played by Jim Halpert in gold makeup) in order to save the NHL All-Star game.
Without giving up too much, let’s just say that the more and more you watch of “Threat Level Midnight”, you could see Holly (Michael’s love interest played by Amy Ryan) growing more and more uncomfortable, and it was clear that there would be some type of spat between her and Michael.
